Meet the Farmers
Jessie Ruml
Jessie is the founder of Pixie Acres Flower Farm. She grew up on a South Dakota farm, went off to college and landed in a Dental Hygiene career. Her farm girl roots kept nudging her, until she made the move to start a flower farm and spend more time with her four daughters and husband. Jessie has found so much joy in growing flowers for her customers. It truly is her dream job and she can’t wait to share beautiful flowers with you!
Philip Ruml
Philip, also known as, hubby, daddy and fisherman. Phil is always thinking of better ways to help the farm operate more efficiently. He helps Jessie with Spring field prep all the way to Fall tear down. His most recent project entailed building a 30 ft by 95 ft unheated greenhouse! He is super handy to have around and our flower farm would be flailing without him.
Ruml Girls
Our girls are the reason our flower farm exists. We wanted to create a life full of farm experiences. They can often be found outside building forts, riding bikes, helping Mom water flowers and complaining about pulling weeds! Ha! With the modern technologies flooding our daily lives, we want to instill farm experiences and values that will last long through their childhood.
